  • 12 ounces chicken
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup oyster sauce
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • Nori sheets (roasted seaweed)
  • 6 cups cooked sushi rice
  • Optional: Furikake seasoning

Instructions

  1. Slice the chicken into 8-10 pieces and marinate with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sugar for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Fry the marinated chicken on medium heat until crispy.
  3. Place nori on a cutting board and use a musubi mold to layer sushi rice about 1-1½ inches thick.
  4. Sprinkle furikake over the rice if desired.
  5. Assemble by placing the fried chicken on top of the rice block.
  6. Wrap the nori around the musubi securely using water to seal.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!
