  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 cup dry white apple vinegar or chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons capers, rinsed and drained
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  2. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant but not browned.
  3. Pour in the apple vinegar or chicken broth; simmer for 2–3 minutes to reduce slightly.
  4. Stir in lemon juice, capers, lemon zest, salt, and pepper; cook for another minute.
  5. Remove from heat; fold in parsley if desired. Serve warm over your favorite dishes.
