  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • For Topping: 1/2 cup granulated sugar and 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and ground cinnamon.
  3. In a separate bowl, cream softened butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time followed by milk and vanilla; mix well.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients gently until just mixed.
  5. Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan; sprinkle with half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture. Add remaining batter on top and finish with the remaining topping.
  6. Swirl with a knife for marble effect.
  7. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  8. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
