  • 1 tsp white granulated sugar
  • 4 cups bread flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter (melted)
  • 6 tbsp brown butter
  • 1/3 cup light brown sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 tbsp milk

Instructions

  1. Activate the yeast by combining warm water and sugar; sprinkle yeast on top and let sit until foamy.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour and salt, then add activated yeast mixture and olive oil. Stir until a sticky dough forms.
  3. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 12 hours.
  4. Grease a baking pan, pour melted butter into the center, and place the dough in the pan; cover and let rise for 1½ to 2 hours.
