  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced
  • 2 cups fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced chicken, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned (5-7 minutes). Remove from skillet.
  2. In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of vegetable oil and stir-fry the green beans for about 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
  3. Add minced garlic and ginger to the green beans, cooking for an additional minute.
  4. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes (if using). Pour this sauce over the stir-fry and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  5. Serve over cooked rice or noodles.
